HODA Construction was founded by two experienced contractors — Josh Potts of Double A Home & Yard Solutions and Jonathan Hanz of Hanz-On Construction — who united their expertise and shared commitment to excellence.
After many successful collaborations on projects, they realized that by officially joining forces, they could offer clients even more — more expertise, more efficiency, and more value.
With shared values rooted in integrity and a deep respect for quality craftsmanship, Josh and Jonathan launched HODA with a simple mission: to build exceptional spaces while building lasting relationships. As family men, they understand the importance of creating homes and spaces where families thrive — and they bring that same care and attention to every project.

Meet the Team
Josh Potts
Co-Founder
With a background that spans military service, the oil and gas industry, and millwrighting, Josh brings a strong work ethic and technical skill to every project. His diverse employment background has made it so logistical problems on the jobsite and everyday obstacles as a business owner are resolved with ease. His passion for carpentry was sparked at a young age, working alongside his grandfather, who taught him the value of craftsmanship and the joy of building with his hands. That early influence grew into a lifelong dedication to quality, precision, and turning vision into reality.
Jonathan Hanz
Co-Founder
Jon's passion for carpentry sparked in high school, where he joined a specialized program that introduced him to the world of residential construction. Through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience in a registered apprenticeship, he built a strong foundation in the trade. After graduating, he dove straight into the field and trade school, fully committed to his craft. Earning his journeyman certificate, Jon launched Hanz-On Construction, where he honed his expertise and developed a specialty in finish carpentry. Today, alongside Josh, he's more driven than ever to excel in the industry and make a lasting impact on the community.
